But local flights (even though they offer they can carry surfboards) will commonly leave behind their surfing equipment due to "weight or space restrictions" and with the promise that their equipment will arrive in a later flight, which sometimes may take more than two days, minimizing their surfing time in Costa Rica.
Our Micro-buses (vans) have special luggage racks that can carry as many surfboards or large volume equipment such as telescopes, kayaks, etc.
